Less guesswork.
More live data.
Your device. Your chassis. The right connections.
Start with power and data. Add sensors when you’re ready.
BUILD YOUR QUICK START
Make it your installation.
Choose the connector variant as well as the chassis.
Swapped engine? Select a swap/custom route and use the donor ECU pinout.
Check engine & mount fitmentMatch the labels. A black wire is not always ground.
Count the wires. K-line uses 3. CAN uses 4.
Check the ECU. The chassis alone is not the protocol.

MQS harness & direct wiring Keep the original circuit connected
The MQS adapter adds a gauge branch while preserving the original cluster/junction-box circuit. Move one verified terminal at a time according to the harness instructions; restore the original path and lock every terminal.
Shop coverage: E38, E39, E46, E8X and E9X. It does not fit E30 or E36. For direct wiring, use a suitable automotive connection method and secure the loom. Check what was supplied with your order.

Sources & review notes
Revision 04 uses the published Gauge.S wiki, Classic V5.5 and POD V6.1 manufacturing drawings, and the confirmed five/three-connector device distinction.
E53 vehicle pins, the POD PST-F1 harness and firmware-specific GPS/control details still need their stated confirmations. The board artwork is a top-view locator; match the actual revision and connector markings. Printed inserts remain proofs pending a physical fold check.
